Julio César Martínez
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Julio César Martínez estudió Comunicación Audiovisual en la Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana. Tiene una especialidad en sonido en la misma institución.
Trabajo en Radio Educación (2000 a 2007), institución en la que laboró asesorando a la Dirección General en la producción y en proyectos especiales tanto nacionales como internacionales.
Ha desempeñado un papel fundamental en el medio radiofónico como coordinador de enlace y producción en diversas áreas de de la Bienal Internacional de Radio.
Formó parte del Laboratorio de Experimentación Artística Sonora (LEAS).
Realizó la grabación de los paisajes sonoros del Estado de Michoacán y de la Ciudad de México, junto al músico mexicano Jorge Reyes y el ingeniero de sonido Peter Avar de Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg.
Ha sido parte del comité organizador del Seminario Internacional de Archivos Sonoros y Audiovisuales en sus cuatro ediciones.
Fue productor del Festival Imagina México 2000.
Ha realizado trabajos de media planning para diversas compañías discográficas transnacionales como Sony Music, BMG Ariola, entre otras.
Dentro de su formación académica destacan cursos junto al Dr. Murray Schafer, creador del Paisaje Sonoro y con Nigel Frayne, presidente de Foro Mundial de Ecología Acústica, entre otros.
Durante el Foro Internacional de Ecología en México asistió al Dr. Derrick de Kerckhove especialista en medios.
Trabajo en la Fonoteca Nacional, de la cual fue parte del equipo de trabajo de investigación y fundación y fue el curador de Arte Sonoro del 2004 al 2019, posteriormente del 2013 al 2016 programaba los canales temáticos de la página web que incluyen Arte Sonoro, Música Popular, Clásica, Historia y Literatura; así como también de la supervisión de producción de diversos materiales sonoros.
Del 2017 al 2018 trabajo como asesor de la Dirección General del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura.
Actualmente colabora en la Dirección General de Televisión Educativa y es fundador y Director General de Esotheknus Media, S.A.P.I.
Julio César Martínez studied Audiovisual Communication at the University of the Cloister of Sor Juana. He has a specialty in sound at the same institution.

He has played a fundamental role in the radio medium as relationships, and production coordinator in various areas of the International Radio Biennial.
He was part of the Laboratory of Sound Artistic Experimentation (LEAS).
He made the recording of the soundscapes of the State of Michoacán and Mexico City, together with the Mexican musician Jorge Reyes and the sound engineer Peter Avar from Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg.
He has been part of the organizing committee of the International Seminar on Sound and Audiovisual Archives in its four editions.
He was a producer for the Festival Imagina México 2000.
He has done media planning work for various transnational record companies such as Sony Music, BMG Ariola, among others.
Among his academic training, there are courses with Dr. Murray Schafer, creator of the Soundscape and with Nigel Frayne, president of the World Forum of Acoustic Ecology, among others.
During the International Ecology Forum in Mexico, Dr. Derrick de Kerckhove was a media specialist.
I work at the National Sound Library, of which he was part of the research and foundation work team and was the curator of Sound Art from 2004 to 2019, then from 2013 to 2016 he programmed the thematic channels of the website that include Sound Art, Music Popular, Classical, History and Literature; as well as the supervision of the production of various sound materials.
From 2017 to 2018 I worked as an advisor to the General Director of the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature.
He currently collaborates in the General Direction of Educational Television and is the founder and General Director of Esotheknus Media, S.A.P.I.
