Two decades ago, SINCRO entered the Chilean electronic music scene with its proposal, deploying its avant-garde sound in a country where these melodies seemed to hide in the depths of the underground, a shadow that persists even today.
SINCRO's identity is founded on European influences, drawing inspiration from the days of his youth in high school, where his preferences leaned towards the instrumental works of luminaries such as Vangelis, Jarre and Jan Hammer, sounds that he could barely perceive fleetingly on the radio. local. At sixteen years old, his dream was to play synthesizers and drum machines, a desire that was then unattainable. However, his music teacher, the late Dante Iturra, generously lent him instruments and sheet music, fueling his enthusiasm for learning and mastering the keyboard, a passion that led him to even take up precious breaks in the music room. .
In the 90s, despite his participation in some Synthpop groups, SINCRO always composed instrumental pieces, which finally found their place on his debut album released in 2003 under the title "Are you really alone?..." Let us remember that in 2021, SINCRO surprised the public with "RECALL", a double compilation album conceived to satisfy his new audience, eager to explore his first creations. This project fueled the idea of republishing his inaugural work, a task that required gathering a wealth of information, archives, and instruments to reconstruct the past. "Are you really alone?..." is like a mixed journey, where various genres coexist: electronic, pop, chill out, trance, new age, with flashes of trip hop, creating an auditory experience that resembles the richness of sound. from a Mike Oldfield album.

“Regrets” is the new single by the Chilean band Darkwave Alternativa Amöniacö, this song was recorded at Estudios Noiser with Carlos Vandal on vocals, guitars and sequences, Rod García on drums and Guillermo Rodríguez as a guest musician on bass. The recording and mixing was in the hands of Carlos Vandal himself and the mastering was done by producer Fernando Cubillos.
The song creates a suffocating and nostalgic atmosphere with lyrics that call not to forget or regret the mistakes of the past, since they make us what we are today.

ScentAir Records introduce us to Jonas Viger, a Finnish Synthpop artist.
He wasn't even born when his biggest influences (Alphaville, Depeche Mode, Human League, Early Ministry, Naked Eyes, OMD...) had taken their first steps, but he grew up listening to synthpop and started playing keyboards at the age of 16 .

At the age of 19, he signed his first recording contract with a label distributed by EMI Records. However, Jonas canceled the contract and focused on his studies and various musical projects.
In 2012, he and his band Sad January signed a recording contract with A Different Drum, and the debut album "Believe In Better" was released in early 2014. Not a single official single was released from the album, but the song "Love" ended up being played multiple times on Finland's biggest mainstream channel YLEX, and the album has since gained a bit of a cult reputation in Synthpop circles.
Since then, Jonas has been involved in various electronic music collections and is now making a solo record.
The first single is called "Your Face". The song is a tribute to early 80's Synthpop demos, but the sound is an authentic Jonas Viger sound. The album will be called "Imaginery Tapes" because Jonas lives in the imaginary 80s in the 2020s. With that, the songs are like a trip back in time to childhood, to the 80s.

Alien Skin has released through POPoNAUT their new album "Negative Plus" in the words of George (Alien Skin): "I don't believe in death. I won't be around to know I'm gone" is a quote from Andy Warhol that I adapted for one of the songs on the album. My own existential unraveling of the recent past is responsible for "every face I see will die and every memory through my eyes will end me" for another song. The psyche present in these thoughts helped frame the concept of "Negative Plus" during the Australian Antarctic winter months. Yet at the same time, I've always had a great desire to inject enduring pop melodies to balance out the melancholic drama. If you can't remember the vocal melody of a song, then I've failed. Shamelessly dropping one final name: Lebanon Hanover's subversive lyric "Sadness Is Rebellion" is one I've considered for some time. I realized that the epithet of this contemporary darkwave/post-punk duo, pro 80s, aligns with my own resistance to toxic positivity. And this considerate attitude has resulted in the pathos-drenched yet electro-humanoid Alien Skin album, "Negative Plus."

"No creo en la muerte. No estaré presente para saber que me he ido" es una cita de Andy Warhol que adapté para una de las canciones del álbum. Mi propio desentrañamiento existencial sobre el pasado reciente es responsable de "cada rostro que veo morirá y cada recuerdo a través de mis ojos terminará conmigo" para otra canción.

Bridge to Imla is the environmental film duo of Hans-Dieter Schmidt and Michael Brückner; musicians who have been active in the German ambient/electronica scene for decades.
Bridge to Imla presents us with "Imaginary Rooms".
The story behind this production begins on October 26, 2019, when Bridge to Imla performed live for the first time at the "Kunstraum" gallery in Erlensee (near Frankfurt), Germany. With new music, composed (and partly improvised) specifically for the occasion (with the exception of "Greenhouse", a live version of Michael Brückner's 2002 piece "A Thin Line", although quite different from the original)
The duo had planned to record the event, but due to equipment failure, this did not work (there is a lo-fi recording of most of the concert, except for the last ten minutes, captured on video camera, which has been released). added to this release as two digital bonus tracks).
The material seemed too good not to be released, HaDi and Michael decided to produce a studio version, resulting in "Imaginary Rooms". Most of the recording and basic mixing was already done in 2019 and completed and finished in early 2023.

Ls historia detrás de esta producción comienza el 26 de octubre de 2019, cuando Bridge to Imla se presentó en vivo por primera vez en la galería "Kunstraum" en Erlensee (cerca de Frankfurt), Alemania. Con música nueva, compuesta (y en parte improvisada) específicamente para la ocasión (a excepción de "Greenhouse", una versión en vivo de la pieza de Michael Brückner de 2002 "A Thin Line", aunque bastante diferente del original)
El dúo había planeado grabar el evento, pero debido a una falla en el equipo, esto no funcionó (hay una grabación de baja fidelidad de la mayor parte del concierto, excepto los últimos diez minutos, capturada con una cámara de video, que se ha agregado a este lanzamiento como dos bonus tracks digitales).

El título del álbum sugiere que todos deberíamos cuidarnos mejor en estos tiempos locos y prestar más atención a nuestros seres queridos.
A pesar de algunos temas incómodos, el álbum aporta positividad a través de pequeños rayos de luz en las letras y toda la experiencia sonora.

Projekt Ich "Mr Crowley feat. Pulse Lab" 06/02/2023

From Rosenheim, Germany Projekt Ich releases the second title in a series of cover singles that have inspired mastermind Ulf Müller since his youth: “Mr Crowley”. This time, Ulf was able to get vocal support from the talented Dasha Larks from Finland's Pulse Lab, who already participated in the song “VR Chained” from the last album “Freedom For All”.

Manuel Trabucco from Italy contributed the expressive saxophone parts for the special edition of "Mr Crowley". The original song "Mr Crowley" is about the English occultist Aleister Crowley and was written and composed by Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Randy Rhoads and bassist Bob Daisley. It was released in Britain on 20 September 1980 on Ozzy Osbourne's debut solo album "Blizzard Of Ozz" through Jet Records.

Ulf Muller says: “I first heard "Mr Crowley" in 1985 or 1986. I became obsessed with this song and played it over and over until the tape blew up. It was just magical. Unfortunately, for a while it was the only Ozzy song I could hear. In the GDR it was not so easy to get hold of the material "music". My old school friend always provided our clique with fresh music from the fringe scene abroad. From metal, punk and various old school genres, it was all there. Ozzy Osbourne and the intense, great music from him remains one of my favorite metal acts to this day. Looking back, I think to myself: it's crazy; The great old master of metal cast a spell on me in the mid-80s with a song about the self-proclaimed "Beast 666", British occultist Aleister Crowley."
